Recreation Illawarra & Recreation Shoalhaven are a sport and recreation service of The Disability Trust. We currently provide a variety of sport & recreation programs in the Illawarra & Shoalhaven including:
Sharks Indoor Cricket – Thursday 5.00pm - 7.30pm Shellharbour Indoor Sports
CUA Jammers Basketball – Saturday 12.00pm - 3.30pm Snakepit Beaton Park
Soccer – Monday 4.00pm - 5.15pm Figtree High School
Gym – 4.00pm - 5.00pm Lakeside Leisure Centre Bay & Basin Leisure Centre and Ulladulla Leisure Centre
Art & Craft – 10.00am - 12.00pm Blackbutt Youth Centre
Drama – 9.00am - 10.00am / 10.15am - 12.15pm Wollongong Youth Centre
Dance Drama – 10.00am - 11.30am Wollongong Youth Centre
Rugby League - 3.45pm - 5.15pm Wollongong PCYC

Include Me Project - this project assists participants who are capable of participating in mainstream sport and recreational programs by facilitating the link between the participants and the organisation.

Healthy Lifestyles Project - a project that assist people with a mild intellectual disability living in the local community to improve their fitness and knowledge of healthy eating.

BluescopeSteel Sports Ready Program - Sport & Recreation program offered to primary schools in the Illawarra through the generous support of BlueScope Steel & The Disability Trust

All programs provide the opportunity for people with disabilities to learn a variety of skills in a wide range of areas. All programs are tailored towards the needs of each participant to ensure you are able to achieve the best possible results when you attend. Programs are run on a weekly basis in line with school terms.
